About us

Our Mission
It was the fourth watch of the night and the disciples where caught hopelessly in a whirlpool of waves that threatened to sink their tiny boat. Jesus was nowhere to be found. Did He send them across the lake to drown in this storm? Suddenly they looked out through the spray of the breaking waves to see a figure walking towards them- in the middle of the water! Was it Jesus or was it a ghost? The disciples were overwhelmed with fear but then they heard the sweet words of Jesus saying, “Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.”
Are you overwhelmed by a storm in your life? Are the waves crashing hopelessly over your head threatening to destroy your life? Maybe you are experiencing a crisis situation or a job loss? Maybe you feel alone and forsaken as the disciples did in the middle of the storm? Whatever the circumstances are, we want you to experience the hope and peace that God gives us through Jesus. Our mission is to offer others the assurance that God is still in control in the midst of the stormy waves.
Matthew 14:15-31. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
